The Nuker-pve view

The nuker is probably the most entertaining roles to choose,probably because he is a champion at damage (highest damage per hit) a ranged fighter (16 range if I remember well,probably 18 max range with 2nd role mastery but not sure) and quite annoying for the oponent in pvp because of his many many shields,that are made for him to rezist in pvp and pve.His big disadvantage,just like in the warior's case,is that he doesn't have any healing tehniques,so the nuker rely's in pve at a very simple strategy : hit-and-run , practically(if you are a nuker) you hit with a nuke,run until the recasting time of other nukes is over,and then hit again(obviously you wont run towards the monsters you are trying to kill,that would be stupid :D )

GEAR
Well as we all know,nukers lack defence,and lack a lot of it ! That is why,as a nuker,you start out with a defence-increase buff(which you should max out as fast as possible).But,let's get back to nuker gear,first of all you need defence set,preferablly Wan Daye one's but Conqueror Cave defence sets will do too.Wear these defence sets until CS 6 level,when you can choose to wear CS 6 CK Damage set,practically it's a set that boosts your ck abilities:dodge,damage,wisdom etc.,suit that works preety good on a nuker of that level.Don't worry if your defence will go down,at that level you should have defence buff maxed out along with the other shields that can replace your defence set,if you know how to play the nuker.Later,if you have money you can choose to replace CS CK damage set with a GL CK damage set (same stats as cs ck damage set,only a little higher,so better).But that is entirely your choice,if you preffer ck damage sets over your clasic defence set.But until you reach CS 6 you ought to know with what other clothes your nuker shall wear.Hat-sincerely I prefer the 1/1000 HP hat over the other hats (10/20/30 rezistance hat or 2% increase on crit hat) when it comes to pve.And a HP hat is recommended as soon as you can wear it or as soon as you can get your hands on one.If you're rich you can aim for a 1/1000 hp hat with 2 slots or a 2/1000 hp hat,it's your choice (as long as you have the money) but fairly i would preffer the 2/1000 hp hat instead of the slotted one.As for boots choose movespeed boots,prefferably the extra 20% movespeed ones;if you have money go for the slotted ones.And as for wristbands,at low level you can try the hp/ve ones(they give 100 if I remember well) or slotted dodge ones or hit for the extra ck damage ones (these ones you will keep for ever) but the damage ones are disadvantageous at low levels because dodge or hp/ve is preffered at those levels because of the fast-kill of the monsters and lack of a proper build (low atributes compared to a high-level nuker one's).By the time you reach Icy you should sell the hp/ve or dodge wristbands and go for a ck damage wristband (at least 200).

WEAPON
As for a weapon,you got bracers,not much of a choice but better than nothing.As a nuker you inflict the highest quantity of damage of all the roles.You should'n need any damage ornaments as long as you have a good build,so let's analyze things a bit.High damage comes excelent with ... CRITICAL ! yes go for a full critical slotted bracer (around low FC levels) and you will rule pve.Until 2nd role it would be good for you if you would use EC WD bracers,even GB WD could be good;you could aslotry aiming for Merchant's 10% critical weapons (you make them with flowstones and the weapon from the NPC,you find him around every dungeon,like Cof,Voh etc.) or in the end,you might want to buy a 2-slotted bracer from a player and fill it with critical ornies,it's entirely your choice.

RELICS
As a nuker,you are bound to be low on defence,that is the reason why you should try to aim for defence relics,or at least strength boosting relics (but not full of them).A defence trinket could work very well for you,along with some 50/60 defence relics.You might need some old bk wisdom and essence relics(if you already have defence relics,if not then search for some old bk strength relics).You could also try Wan Daye's Seal (+5 all atributes),it would work exemplarily on you,it boosts everything.

BUILD
The build for a nuker is quite easy:
STRENGTH:Keep it at a bare minimum(just for relic requirement)
ESSENCE:You put here with 4 points more than weapon requirement
WISDOM:Everything else
CONSTITUTION:around 20-25
DEXTERITY:Same as strength
After you have maxed out strength,you must pump up essence.Wisdom boosts your ck damage,ck critical rate and ck dodge (but that isn't important in pvp).Essence does increase ck damage too(not as much,but hey it does)so that is why you should pump up essence after wisdom is maxed out.After you max out essence too,it's entirely up to you whether you want to pump strength,dexterity or constitution.If you want to take lower damage from monsters pump strength,if you wanna be hit lesser pump un dexterity,if you wanna rezist longer from monsters hits pump constitution.But remember,strength is penalty-atribute!

CLAN
As for clan,it really doesn't matter if you keep only for grinding.Just pick one and nuke the monsters out of your way ! :P

The Warrior-as a tanker

The warior as a tanker is quite a good choice because of his high defensive and ofensive capabilities.In dungeons and at bosses you will almost everytime find a warior there,because of his great rezistance compared to other roles.The only disadvantage of the warior class as a tanker is the absence of healing tehniques.So,putting in simply a warior is a great tanker until his hp goes down,after that he needs to meditate to regenerate and this might take a while even with advanced meditation because of his high hp.Even so,with some pills and hp leech the warrior could rezist even longer and this could matter a lot in a dungeon,or when camping an important boss (like Shen-Mo,or Vicious-Fist)
Of course,hp recovery pills and/or ornaments aren't always required when camping a boss or going in a dungeon.When camping a really important boss (like def boss,hp boss etc.) you really dont need any hp pills or ornaments because the fact that these kind of bosses are permanently camped,so when he spawns he dies in around 30 seconds.On other less important bosses like Blood Wolf King (ZhenghZhou/ShiZhang boss) or Blade Behind a Smile(Jinan/Datong boss) you might need some hp pills/ornaments or a healer or at least a hybrid nearby to keep your hp at a reasonable level while you kick that boss's azz.
And as for skills and buffs,well the warior really doesn't have a lot to choose,if you want to be a good tanker then pump un defence buff(the one which boosts defence and lowers movespeed),if you want to be a good camper train critical buff(the one which makes your hits land only critical strikes for 30 seconds at the cost of your defence).In any case you still need to train your 2 damage buffs(Yin/Yang and the Oc 1 damage buff).Good luck ! 


The Warrior-pvp view

Well then,I'm really bored today so I've decided to update this blog about the warrior (wanna finish warior guide today and if possible to start another role guide)
For starters,if you already have a high level warior if you think your build is good enough for pvp,forget it.You must undergo an atribute reset,otherwise you will be a walking-hamburger rather than a warior.

GEAR
There are some ways of equiping your warrior for pvp and I will write down some of them:
-Cs/Gl damage set = the good thing is that it gives about everything you could need as a warior:damage,dodge,strength etc.,the bad thing is that you occupy all your clothing slots with this gear to make it's effect
- normal clothing = in here you put clothes you may think might work for your warrior in pvp like def set,20% ms boots,damage WB and 2% critical hat for example.The good thing is that you can customize this gear as you wish,the bad thing is that you'll never get as many bonuses as from de damage clothes (refering only to clothes)
So it's entirely your choice,but I would recommend the normal clothing gear because of the extra defence (600 max def isn't quite nothing) and the other stuff it gives.

WEAPON
In pvp you should know that the dmg type ornies are of 2 types:energy-damaging and physical-damaging
Energy-damaging ones are Yin and Yang types of damage.These 2 types of damage are excelent at destroying shields and other buffs that protect the person you are battling.So remember,when battleing if a person buffs itself with a shiled or protective buff,using a Yin-Yang weapon is the fastest way to destroy it's protection.
The physical-damaging ones are,obviously,Soul and Body.After your opponent's shields are down go on at him with a Body-Soul weapon,it's faster than with a Yin-Yang weapon.
So in conclusion beeing a warrior,you should have about 2 weapons:an Yin-Yang weapon and a Body-Soul one.
Also as you may know every character,once he/she chooses a clan,an element-rezistance mastery appears,So the clan matters very much in a pvp,because knowing what clan is your opponent,you know what rezistance he has.For example,if you are battling a Sacred Flower warior,you know she has Soul rezistance,so you wont use Body-Soul weapon,you will use Yin-Yang;even though it's an energy-destroying element it still packs more damage against a Body/Soul rezistance player.
Although you will use the Yin-Yang weapon only on nukers,it's good to have it there,just in case.
Also,if you aren't yet 2nd role you can still go for any of SM-GB-EC WD weapons,all of them are quite good for pvp.With a little bit of refine you will dominate quite all players of same level or apropiate level of yours.

RELICS
Relics depend very much on what kind of warrior you want to make.There are 3 types of warrior-builds that rely entirely on relics and build.

Physical-propose warior
This type of warrior specializes in killing mostly other wariors,mele hybrids and mele heales.In a battle against a ck-user it would be an obvius defeat for your warrior.Well as for relics here,you should put here only dodge and defence relics like defence trinket(+200 def) defence relics(+50/60 def with 2% increase on HP,not on VE),Wan Daye Blue Jade Seal,Dodge Trinket,EC bk str/dex old relics (the +15 ones).I recommend here the Britherhood of Thieves clan relic,for extra damage.
Also if some of your clothes are slotted you should go for some dodge ornaments to boost your chances to avoid an atack of your enemy,or you could try some dexterity ornaments for greater chances to land a hit on your opponent if his dodge is high too.

Chi-kung-propose warior
This relic-build requires also a good anti-ck build,otherwise it would be an useless relic-gear to battle against any ck-user.First of all,I would recommend Wu-tang clan relic for the extra essence boost and ck dodge,Shaolin clan for essence boost and block rate(higher block rate,higher the chances of negating negative effects,like bleeding,paralizing etc.)and Heavenly Demon might work as well because of the extra atack rating and ck atack rating as well (if you are not a warrior).Other relics that might work are bk old wiss,ess,dex and str ones,Wan Daye's Seal,Plate of Heavenly Wind(+500 block rate),Plate of Heavenly Lightning(extra 10% ck dodge) and other relics that may boost your ck def,dodge and atack rating.

General-purpose warior
This build is quite balanced because you can go against wariors as well as against ck-users.The key is combining def/dodge relics with ck def/dodge relics.I will try to give an example of relic-build:Seal of Wan Daye,clan relic (if you are wt,shaolin,or hd),def trinket,dodge trinket and the old bk relics (the +15 ones) for strength,dexterity,essence and wisdom.This is just one example,there are lots and lots of other ways of relic-equiping your warior,I gave you guys just one way.

BUILD
For physical warior the build is very simple.Essence and Wisdom to a bare minimum (just enough to equip relics),then max out strength,and with the rest of points you pump up dexterity and constitution.
For a chi-kung warior the build is a little more hard to get to.First of all essence at a bare minimum,strength around 200-250,dexterity just as much as weapon requirements asks,constitution you should have around 100-150 and the rest in wisdom for ck dodge and defence.
For general warior build is mostly same as with the chi-kung warior with one difference,lower wisdom and more dexterity.

CLAN
All clans are good for a warior to pvp,you only need to know how to make your warior rule! :>

The Warrior-pve view

So,i'm back with some fresh info on the warior.Let's start it,shall we?
The most important stats for a warior are these 3 (in order):Strength,Dexterity and Constitution.
Essence is slightly less important,you need it only for Vital Energy,but at higher levels you can reduce points in this atribute with esence elixirs,buffs,relics,gear etc.
Wisdom is like a sword with 2 blades-depends on what you want to do with your warior.If you keep your warior only for Pve (grind) forget about wisdom;if you want to make your warior for PvP then you should consider adding some points in this atribute (to battle nukers,ck hybrids and ck healers) because wisdom adds ck dodge,and a bit of ck defense;truly essence adds more ck def than wisdom but essence requires 2 points to make +1 so that's why wisdom is preffered over essence in pvp.

GEAR
 In this case,you should try and make Wan Daye's defence set's (with Golden Thread's) as soon as they appear in your colection page.They are the best option for you because they give defence,HP and above all VE which you need because of Essence penalty atribute.
 As for boots I recomend 2 slotted boots with dodge ornies,or if you have money try hitting a 2 slot 20% movespeed boots and fill them with dodge ornies.
Normally,on wristbands it is recomended that you wear damage ones (at least 200) or if you think you inflict quite some damage you can aim for some 2 slotted wb filled with dodge,so you can rezist longer in battle.Ultimately you can aim for some 2 slotted 300 dmg wristbands,but you should consider buying this item only if you truly have a hell of a lot of money.
 Hat-well at lower levels (until FD 12) i dont recommend hp hat,because you do low damage and it would barely have any effect,better try a dodge or dex hat(2 ornies of +6 dex,for bigger chances to hit,critical etc.).When you reach SM it's quite ok for you to start wearing hp hat.

WEAPON
As for weapon it's quite simple.Until you reach North Sea Icy map you shouldn't bother to put hp leech ornies in your weapon because monsters will still be quite easy to kill.
Until then,try combining physical critical with your clan's type damage;you'll see right away what I mean.
There are 4 tipes of damage in 9dragons:YYBS-yin,yang,body,soul.
Each clan has certain affinities with these tipes of damage,for example:
Wu-tang and Heavenly Demon have affinity with Yin and Yang,so that means that members of these clans will inflict more damage with Yin and Yang ornies in their weapons than with Body and/or Soul.
Members of the League of the Beggars and of The Brotherhood of Thieves will inflict extra damage with Body-type damage.
Finally,but not last,Shaolin and Sacred Flower will deal more damage using Soul-ornies in their weapons.
You should'n waste money on slotted weapons at low levels because even without strong weapons you still level up preety easily.
Btw,about refining weapons,you must be carefull when to use BE's to make a refine and when not to.At lower levels you can still refine your weapon,but I recommend a maximum of +2 at low levels (until +2,refinement doesn't require Blood Essence's) simply because it's a waste of BE.
 I don't want to give you a certain level to start refining or buying slotted weapons,but I recommend you should start as soon as you observe that grinding without slots or refine is getting harder.
I strongly recommend wariors to grind up until mid-high Crimson Snake level in Liadong because in North Sea Icy all Hell is gonna break lose;monsters have lots and lots of hp,def,dodge and it's really hard to kill them.When you enter Icy you MUST,and i mean it, start considering adding hp leech ornies to your slots,besides damage and critical.Even so at that level you might be able to inflict quite a lot of damage so you might consider eliminating damage ornies and putting hp leech ornies instead.

RELICS
Well,i have experimentated both gk and bk relics and i believe bk relics own gk ones because of some simple reasons:
-gk relics are for atribute equilibrium,because as you have observed they boost 2 atributes,so this thing might be good for wariors if they boost strength and con,or dexterity and essence and so on other combinations but still they boost atributes on a low quantity compared to bk relics
 -bk relics are for maximum boost on one atribute,they are specially made to boost one or more atributes,EC level ones give like +15 to certain atribute,while same level,same relic but of gk gives u +6 to 2 atributes
Simply because of the lack of atribute-boost of gk relics,the bk relics are preffered over gk ones.
I recommend using some bk ess relics to boost up your ve,so you can put atribute-points in more important ones,like strength or dexterity.

BUILD
There are tons and tons of builds you can find on the internet about warrior and i will show you,dear viewers,my own personal build,BUT I WARN YOU ! my build works good for me,on some other warior players it might not have the same effect.I mean,I like my build,but some other players may have some rough time playing with it,so be carefull.
STRENGTH:Everything else
ESSENCE:As low as possible,but still enough for grinding,around 20 at lower levels,and lesser at higher levels because of the Essence relics (Wu-Tang clan relic for example) and other Ve relics.
WISDOM:Just for relic requirement
CONSTITUTION:At every Chi Breathing you put those 6 points in here
DEXTERITY:With 4 points above weapon requirement(for example,weapon requirement is 36 dex,so you should have 40 dex for optimum grinding)
When you max out strength you should and must pump out dex and con,i would say around 3 points dex and 1 point con per level after you max out strength with 2nd role limit extension (up to 300 max atribute,instead of 250)

CLAN
Clan truly doesn't give any major benefit to wariors,just some slightly minor benefits that can count on certain activities(pvp,camping a boss etc.) but in grind it's almost no diference,except esthetics.
If you still want to make a warior at a strong clan,you should make a Brotherhood of Thieves at Black Side and Shaolin at White side,because they're weapons have the highest maximum damage of all weapons.But again clan really doesn't matter so much in Pve so just choose one and go.

In conclusion,this is my vision on the grinding warior,even if you like it or not I won't force you to use this guide on your warrior,use it if you like it,or want it,not because another-player-posted-another-kind-of-warior-guide-so-let's-try-it-out.Just have fun ! Cya later !

The roles

Hi again!This time i will write about the roles you can play because i forgot to post them last time(sorry,my bad)

So let's get started.Once you reach OC 1 (Opening Chi 1 = 25 ) you are able to chose one of the 4 clan roles.I know i said there are 5 roles to play,and this is true because the Vagabond is the 5'th role (To become Vaga you simply dont choose a clan role,simple as that xD)

Now the 4 clan roles are:
-Warrior-which we all have heard a lot about warrior guides so i wont insist
-Chi Kung Artist-although there are some guides on the Internet I'd like to make a few adds of my own when i get to nuker guide
-Holist-because of this role,and the Strategist one I've made my decision to make this blog so expect me to write down a lot on this role and the Strategist
-Strategist-there are uncountable guides for melee healers (or kung-fu healers) but I have not found a ck healer guide(Chi-Kung healer) so this is also one of the roles i will insist on

So,in the end i will make some guides for the following roles:
-Warrior ;
-Nuker ;
-Melee hibrid ;
-CK hibrid ;
-Melee healer ;
-CK healer ;
-Vagabond.

Introduction

So,this blog is about a pretty much famous game - 9 Dragons.This game is a MMORPG(masive-multiplayer-online-role-playing-game) in which you should join one of the 6 main clans and well....get strong xD.

There are 2 factions in this game:the White side and the Black side.

The White side clans are Wu-Tang,Shaolin and The League of the Beggars.
The Black side clans are Heavenly Demon,Sacred Flower and The Brotherhood of the Thieves.

In this game there are 5 roles you can occur,some of them playable in more than 1 way.

So these things beeying said,on my next post I will start on writting about the stuff that matters like stat build,gear,leveling etc.
